Joint Effort is a collaboration of flavors that respect the diversity of its city. A curated, rotating menu ensures that our clients see themselves reflected in their city as they simultaneously experience the lifting effect of our pairings. Our dishes embody the cultural variety that our city craves: jerk chicken wings, curried chicken dumplings, arancini, and souvlaki platters. Our community is our foundation and roots that fuse flowers and food for an exceptional experience.

Many dreams start with some flower, and Joint Effort began with its name. Our founder, Sunu, was enlightened by friends and her partner’s love of creating a community centered around curated dishes. Joint Effort was founded on the idea that exceptional food should be paired with incredible flower. 

An idea that started in a college dorm room came to fruition in 2018 as we focused on perfecting butters and oils that are balanced, potent, and flavorful without compromising effect. By 2020, Joint Effort was fully operating by providing paired meals to New York City customers with an emphasis on quality and love of cooking for others. 

We were grateful and stunned by the overwhelming response we received from our community. Repeat clients and curious individuals alike became the foundation for our success, and our purpose became more and more clear: paired dishes with quality uncompromised. 

We could explain the impact that the last several years had on our spirit, or we could share how inspired we return to a project rooted in joy through thoughtfully developed dishes for our community. It’s a Joint Effort.
